Exploring K12 Technology Leadership Stories: Exclusive Podcast Episodes

I had an idea a few years ago to start a podcast. I wanted to capture the stories of successful Directors of Technology/Chief Technology Officers to showcase the varied and rich backgrounds we all come from, since there is no clear path to becoming a K12 CTO! I know some from education backgrounds and some from technical background, some with doctoral degrees and others with high school diplomas, some of U.S origin and others who are not, yet they have all become successful in our space. I did a little exploration, but I did not have the capacity while working on my own doctorate degree to make it happen.

Enter my friends and partners at K12 Tech! We have partnered with them for several years for our Chromebook repairs and technology recycling, and their founder, Zach Marvel, has a love of podcasting and storytelling. I was honored when he invited me to their dedicated podcasting space in their offices in Valparaiso, Indiana to kick off their treatment of this idea–Origin Stories of K12 Technology Leaders!
